Stop payments to your handle

Someone named your X account in a token and you would rather not be paid. Two ways to stop it, and what happens to the money.

The fast way: X Money settings

Turn off incoming payments in your X Money settings. X then refuses our transfers the same way it refuses anyone's, and each refused cheque goes back after the claim window.

Send the form below, or DM @usepayup from the handle. Once we confirm you control it, we put the handle on the do-not-pay list within 7 days and remove it from the site.

The quickest proof is a DM to @usepayup from the handle itself.

What happens to the money

We do not reroute your share to someone else, and we do not keep it quietly. Any balance already booked to your handle, and everything booked after, splits in half: 50% to the protocol treasury and 50% to buying and burning $PAYUP. The ledger shows each split.
