Tokens paying a handle

From a trade to a cleared cheque.

Five steps, all of them on chain or on X. Watch it once, then check any of it yourself.

Illustration: a trade on pump.fun pays a creator fee, the PAYUP treasury claims it on Solana, 80% becomes a cheque to @yourhandle and 20% buys and burns $PAYUP.
  1. Somebody trades the token

pump.fun takes a creator fee on every buy and sell. On a PAYUP coin the fee-sharing config sends 100% of it to our treasury, locked so nobody can change it.

  2. The treasury claims it

Our keeper distributes a coin's vault once it holds 0.01 SOL or more, so network fees never eat a quiet coin. Each distribution is one Solana transaction you can open on Solscan.

  3. The claim splits 80 / 20

We price the claim in dollars at the moment it lands. Eighty percent is booked to the X handle in the token's description. Twenty goes to buying $PAYUP and burning it.

  4. The balance climbs the ladder

Cheques go out at $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000 and every $1,000 after. Each one carries the full balance at the moment it crosses.

  5. A cheque clears on X

The handle receives dollars in X Money and @usepayup replies in public with the amount and the token it came from.

Illustration: @yourhandle gets an X Money notification for $50.00 from PAYUP, followed by a public reply from @usepayup.

The person you name does nothing.

No sign-up, no wallet, no form. When their balance crosses a milestone, dollars land in X Money and @usepayup replies so they and their followers can see where it came from. X Money needs a US resident aged 18 or over; a payment they cannot accept goes back after the claim window and splits between the treasury and the $PAYUP burn.

Launch a token

Four fields and one signature.

Name, ticker, image, and the handle you want paid. We write the fee line into the description and lock the coin's fee sharing to the PAYUP treasury. You sign twice in your Solana wallet: once for the coin, once for the lock. Network costs run about 0.03 SOL.

Illustration: the launch form fills in Meme Coin, MEME and @yourhandle, adds the fee line, and the new token lands in the register as accruing.

Twenty percent of every claim burns $PAYUP.

The protocol share buys $PAYUP on the open market and sends it to a dead address. Holding it changes nothing about the split or who can launch. Until the token exists, the share sits in the treasury as a reserve you can watch grow on the stats page.
